  1. Surface (Two Drum)
Surface winders, often called Two Drum winders . Their winding force is controlled from the drums the rewind roll is riding on. All roll are being wound on a common center next to each other. Riding rolls apply pressure to the top of the rewind roll for additional roll build control.
  2. Center / Surface (Duplex)
The winding force on Center / Surface machines is controlled from the rewind shafts. Speed and torque are transmitted from electric motors, hydraulic motors or clutches. Rewind rolls ride against shared or individual drums for additional support & control. Both differential and lock core winding methods used.
  3. Center
Center winders are machines whos winding force is controlled from the rewind shafts. Speed and torque are transmitted from electric motors, hydraulic motors or clutches. Both differential and lock core winding methods used.
